In 2019, Vietnam is selected as the country for the FMA to host the 11th Asia-Pacific Regional Conference, and Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) is honored to be the co-organizer with FMA. Prof. Le Vinh Danh, TDTU President as the Co-Chair of the Conference, Dr. Vo Van Lai, TDTU Lecturer as the co-chair of academic activities.

On January 16, 2024, in the morning, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) hosted a ceremony for the formalization of a collaboration agreement with Nam A Commercial Joint Stock Bank.
The FIBAA Accreditation and Certification Committee (FIBAA Accreditation and Certification Committee) has officially announced the decision to recognize the quality of the Master's degree program in Banking and Finance.
On the afternoon of November 6, 2023, the Faculty of Banking and Finance (TCNH) hosted representatives from Saxion University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands. The meeting included notable attendees such as Mr. Sander Reinderink, the Director of the School of Finance and International Business, and Mr. Janco Bonnink, the Director of the Department of Education & Student Support.
On November 7, 2023, the Faculty of Banking and Finance had the privilege of welcoming representatives from the CFA Institute. During the meeting with lecturers and students of the Faculty of Finance and Banking, expert Florence Wong, Director, Partnerships and Client Solutions, APAC at CFA Institute, provided essential information related to the CFA Institute, the CFA program, CFA exams, scholarships, and support for students participating in CFA certification exams.
On September 24 and 25, The Associated Organ of Vietnamese Students’ Association, Faculty of Finance and Banking, Ton Duc Thang University organized a “Mid-Autumn Festival for Children 2023” program in Thien Binh orphanage - Bien Hoa City, Dong Nai Province. The program garnered participation from over 50 students and 100 children residing in orphanage.
On September 11, 2023, the Finance and Banking Department at Ton Duc Thang University organized a Career Day – Recruitment for the Finance and Banking field in 2023 (FINANCE and BANKING OPENDAY TDTU 2023). The event aimed to provide career guidance, enhance practical integration skills for students while they are still in school, and serve as an opportunity for businesses to seek young talent.
On the afternoon of June 19, 2023, the event "BE THE CHANGE YOU WANT TO SEE" was co-organized by the Faculty of Finance and Banking of Ton Duc Thang University and the AIESEC Vietnam International Student Organization (AIESEC). attracted nearly 300 students from the Faculty of Ton Duc Thang University, and students from the University.
On the afternoon of July 5, 2023, Workshop "Application of Blockchain in Fintech" took place at Ton Duc Thang University. The program is an event in addition to the International Conference on Financial Management and Economics 2023 (ICFME 2023) organized by the Faculty of Finance and Banking in collaboration with the Faculty of Accounting, Ton Duc Thang University and international universities. International events such as Tomas Bata in Zlín University (Czech Republic), Michigan State University (USA) and the University of Southern Queensland (Australia) co-hosted on July 4 and 5, 2023.
