Sungkyunkwan University, Korea visited and worked with the Faculty of Finance and Banking

On the afternoon of February 28th, 2019, the Faculty of Finance and Banking was honored and pleased to welcome Professor Hongjoo Jung - director of the Global Insurance & Pension Research Center - Sungkyunkwan University, South Korea, Professor Sang-rim Lee – President of Korean Insurance Academy Society and other professors from top universities in Korea visited and worked with the Faculty of Finance and Banking. The meeting took place with the participation of Dean of Faculty of Finance and Banking - Dr. Hoang Cam Trang and lecturers from the Faculty.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed cooperation programs to be implemented in 2019 and the coming years such as implementing joint cooperation projects, establishing insurance centers, co-organizing international conferences, implementing faculty exchange programs, maintaining courses and scholarship programs for students. At the same time, promoting and implementing short-term exchange for students.

Professor Jung expressed his admiration and amazement at the rapid development of Ton Duc Thang University. He was very happy to have the opportunity to work and discuss with the Faculty of Banking and Finance and hoped that both schools would continuously promote the sustainable cooperation and develop together to gain many new achievements in the future.
