Ton Duc Thang University signed a comprehensive cooperation with Orient Commercial Joint Stock Bank

On the afternoon of October 3, 2019, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) held the 2nd Comprehensive Cooperation Signing Ceremony with Orient Commercial Joint Stock Bank (OCB).

Attending the ceremony were Mr. Le Hai Phong, Regional Director of Ho Chi Minh City; Ms. Hoang Thi Huong, Director of Tan Thuan Branch and Leaders of other OCB Departments.

Attendants from TDTU included Dr. Vo Hoang Duy, Vice-president; Leaders of several Faculties, including Finance and Banking, Business Administration, Accounting, Information Technology, and the Center for Enterprise Cooperation and Alumni.

Dr. Vo Hoang Duy thanked OCB Bank’s Leaders for supporting TDTU by sponsoring major events for the University and providing services for lecturers and officials. At the same time, he hoped that with this signing, the two sides would deploy more effective cooperation activities to benefit both sides.

Mr. Le Hai Phong said: OCB’s business strategy always targets young and dynamic customer markets; and TDTU is one of OCB’s important partners. He also expressed his admiration for the quality of TDTU’s education and believed that the high-quality labor force trained by TDTU will be a central force amongst OCB’s staff in the future.

According to the Agreement, the cooperation program between TDTU and OCB will include visit/practice/apprenticeship programs for TDTU students; priority in recruiting TDTU students; organizing career workshops, developing skills for students; research cooperation; building talented scholarship funds and priority in using each other’s services.
