Officially opening round 2 – the securities investment contest “Investment challenge 2021”

Starting from May 17, 2021, the INVESTMENT CHALLENGE - 2021 Securities Investment Contest (IC 2021) for students in southern provinces and cities (from Hue onwards), has officially entered Round 2 of the Competition. The competition is called the Real Investment Experience Round.

The real investment experience round is an activity where the candidates are allowed to open real securities accounts at securities companies, receive investment capital with real money into accounts at securities companies, and conduct real investment transactions. securities trading on HOSE, HNX.

The round of Real Investment Experience will take place within 60 days (from May 17, 2021 to July 16, 2021). During 60 days, the candidates will have the opportunity to show their bravery, intelligence and ability to grasp the market, sharp thinking and passion for the securities profession when they have to conduct securities trading on the stock exchanges. actual, volatile and risky securities of the stock market, especially in the context that the economy is under the influence and influence of the Covid-19 pandemic.

This 2021 contest, the Organizing Committee has expanded the scope of the Contest from Ho Chi Minh City and some neighboring provinces to all southern provinces and cities (from Hue onwards). The "hotness" of the Contest has been shown by the number of universities and colleges that have candidates participating in the Contest up to 67 schools. At the end of Round I - General knowledge of securities and stock market, the Organizing Committee has obtained a list of TOP 100 candidates with the highest scores in the test results, ranked from 1 to 100. The faculty of this round belongs to contestant Nguyen Van Sinh, (the only perfect score of 10/10 in the round), from the Faculty of Management, Ho Chi Minh University of Economics.

The organizers invited the TOP 100 candidates to attend the Practical Investment Knowledge Training Course (held on May 7, 2021) and sponsored 31 teams (each team consisted of 03 contestants) to enter Round 2. - Real investment. Compared to the 2020 competition season, the 2021 Competition has expanded to 11 more teams that are funded and open accounts at securities companies to participate in Round 2 – Real investment.

The teams playing in Round 2 – Actual investment of this 2021 Competition are supported by Diamond sponsors NH Vietnam Securities Company Limited (NHSV) and FPT Securities Joint Stock Company and Dong sponsor. VnDirect Securities Company sponsored money and opened trading accounts at these securities companies. In which, the teams that have candidates with the results of Round 1 in the TOP 30 will be sponsored 10 million VND per team, covering 20% of the losses; Teams from TOP 31 to 60 are sponsored 5 million VND/team, 10% loss cover; teams 61-90 are sponsored 5 million VND/team, no loss.
