Financial Management Association Asia-Pacific Conference 2019
Financial Management Association International (FMA) is the leading international organization for financial management. Founded in 1970 in the United States, the mission of the FMA is to promote research in financial management through the exchange of scientific research results and practical experience around the world.
Regular activities of the FMA are to organize annual meetings, conferences and other academic activities, hence connecting educators, researchers, and practitioners around the world to exchange knowledge and discuss issues that arise in the financial sector.
The Financial Management Association Asia-Pacific Conference is one of the annual FMA conferences held in regional countries, which focuses on Asian-Pacific issues as well as the global financial problems.'
The country selected by FMA to organize a conference is usually an economically developed one such as Japan (2014), Korea (2015), Australia (2016), Taiwan (2017), Hong Kong (2018), etc. Specifically, the host venue for the conference must be country-leading universities with outstanding scientific research achievements and high internationalization such as the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, National Taiwan University, the University of New South Wales, Australian National University, etc.
In 2019, Vietnam is selected as the country for the FMA to host the 11th Asia-Pacific Regional Conference, and Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) is honored to be the co-organizer with FMA. Prof. Le Vinh Danh, TDTU President as the Co-Chair of the Conference, Dr. Vo Van Lai, TDTU Lecturer as the co-chair of academic activities.
Participating in the submission and presentation at the conference are leading international scientists and experts such as: Prof. Rajesh Narayanan, Louisiana State University and Prof. Andrei Simonov, Michigan State University, USA. The session for the opening of the conference will be delivered by Prof. Gordon Phillips, Dartmouth College, USA.
The conference takes place from July 10 to 12, 2019. In addition to the main discussion sessions of experts, there is a Forum for Fellows taking place on July 10, 2019.
With the scale and quality of the world's leading expertise, the conference brings together a number of distinguished international scientists, experts and researchers in the field come to share and discuss global financial management issues and look for opportunities to collaborate and work together, hosted by TDTU.
