Opening Ceremony of the 6th traditional football tournament of the Faculty of Finance - Banking - 2024

The 6th traditional football tournament of the Faculty of Finance and Banking officially commenced at the Ton Duc Thang University Stadium on the morning of June 22, 2024. This sporting event is organized annually and attracts enthusiastic participation from students across the Faculty.

The opening ceremony took place in an enthusiastic and exciting atmosphere. In attendance were the faculty members of the Faculty, the participating athletes, and a large number of students cheering on the event.

In her opening remarks, Ms. Lê Bảo Thy, Vice Dean of the Finance and Banking Faculty, emphasized that this football tournament holds significance beyond sports. It provides an opportunity for students to foster teamwork, learn from one another, and strengthen their bonds within the community. She also extended her best wishes for success to all participating teams and expressed hope that the tournament would be safe, fair, and full of excitement. 

On behalf of the referee team, a representative delivered the following remarks: "We, the referee team for this football tournament, pledge to perform our duties with impartiality, fairness, and utmost seriousness. We hope that the teams will compete wholeheartedly, adhere to the regulations, and embody the spirit of sportsmanship. We wish the tournament a resounding success."

On behalf of the participating athletes, Nguyen Van Tien shared: "We are very excited and honored to be part of the Faculty’s traditional football tournament. This is an opportunity for us not only to showcase our football skills and passion, but also to engage, learn from, and form bonds with other students. We promise to compete with a spirit of fair play, respect for our opponents, and demonstrate our utmost dedication to delivering thrilling matches. We wish the tournament great success and much joy."

This year's tournament brings together 8 outstanding teams from the Faculty's classes, divided into two groups. The teams will compete in a round-robin format to determine the top two teams from each group to advance to the semi-finals and finals. All participating teams have been well prepared, from tactics to team spirit, promising to deliver exciting and thrilling matches.
