The GLORIOUS MIND - Entrepreneurship in GenZ 2024 Competition

On May 6th, 2024, the FNB ENGLISH CLUB of the Faculty of Finance and Banking at Ton Duc Thang University successfully organized the Entrepreneurship in GenZ competition.

The event was sponsored and judged by Mr. Truong Hien Phuong, Senior Director of KIS Vietnam Securities Company; Ms. Tran Huynh To Nhi, IELTS TRAINEE at Easy Edu English Center; Ms. Nguyen Thi Quynh Anh, Entrepreneurship lecturer at Ton Duc Thang University; G4U Club; TH.Team dance group; Merdes Vietnam fashion brand; and Grab Me Up Teddy Bear Co., Ltd.

From the Faculty of Finance and Banking, Ton Duc Thang University, the organizing committee included Mr. Nguyen Gia Duong – Acting Dean of Finance and Banking Faculty, Ms. Le Bao Thy – Vice Dean of Finance and Banking Faculty, and Ms. Ngo Nguyen Quynh Nhu – Head of Organizing Committee.

Established in 2018, Glorious Mind is an English eloquence competition aimed at providing a platform for student exchange, learning, and English proficiency improvement, fostering confidence in communication and promoting students' passion for learning English.

This year's theme, Entrepreneurship in GenZ, transformed the competition into not only an English proficiency showcase for young talents to demonstrate creative business ideas but also an opportunity to receive valuable rewards and encourage entrepreneurial spirit.

The competition consisted of three rounds: Preliminary Round - Be Aware, Semi-Final Round - Action, and Final Round - Influence.
The final results of Glorious Mind 2024 are as follows:
Champion: Team Magic Jump with three outstanding members: Nguyen Huu Loc, Huynh Thi My Duyen, Phan Ngoc Anh Thy.
Runner-up: Wealthy Girls team with three girls: Vo Hoang Nhi, Vo Thi Mai Ly, Dang Thao Ngan.
Honorable Mention: The Infinite team: Quach Dinh Chuong, Tran Tan Dat, Tran Thi Thuy Quynh.
Encouragement Prize: Unique team: May Sabai Hmu, Pham Tran Phuong Mai, Phone Wai Yan Moe.

The success of the competition owes much to the contributions and support from sponsors, esteemed judges, faculty members of the Faculty of Finance and Banking at Ton Duc Thang University, as well as the dedicated efforts of participating teams, the silent dedication of FNB ENGLISH CLUB and Finance and Banking Faculty Union students.

With the success of Glorious Mind - Entrepreneurship in GenZ 2024, it is hoped that future editions of the competition will continue to thrive with increased student participation and support from sponsors.
