On 18 March 2019, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) organize a conference press to start an Investment Challenge 2019 at the A101 conference room. This is the 2nd time TDTU organize this finance and economics contest and it continuously attracting more than 1300 students from popular universities in HCMC to attend.
To orient and encourage students of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) towards start-up activities; Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering in collaboration with Bricon Company (Korea) organizes the Start-up Competition for students: “TDTU STARTUP WINGS 2019”.

On 26 November 2018, Finance and Banking Faculty organizes a second discussion seminar in the 1st semester of 2018-2019 academic year. In this seminar, students have opportunities to ask questions about studies and extra-activities.
On August 13th 2018, the Faculty of finance and banking has organized a thesis defense for all students following the high quality program. After four years of study and research, in order to complete their study program, all students are required to implement dissertations and oral defenses which are fully written and used in English. The graduation thesis defense, which is held annually, is of the utmost important not only to students to assess their professional knowledge and their research skills but also to the Faculty to recognize and evaluate the training capacity and curriculum.
On 19 September 2018, Finance and Banking Faculty cooperate with Amicoach Institute to awards scholarship to outstanding students in high quality program
On 17 September 2019, Finance and Banking Faculty organizes a discussion seminar with over 400 students. In this seminar, students have opportunities to ask questions about studies and extra-activities. In addition, the faculty also cooperates with Sacombank to awards 10 scholarship to outstanding students. These scholarships represent the great attention of the faculty and Sacombank to motivate students in each semester.
On the morning of August 20, 2018, the Faculty of Finance and Banking organized the "Welcome K22 Freshmen Meeting" at the Hall C411. This is an annual activity for new students to know teachers and make new friends. The meeting is also an opportunity for freshmen to know more about the Faculty policies, education programs as well as get employment opportunities by experience sharing conferences by business managers and alumnus.
On 17/8/2018 at the branch of District 8, 324 Pham Hung, Ward 10, District 8, Sacombank organizes recruitment day for various positions such as Personal and Corporate credit officers, Consultants officers, tellers. Particularly, the candidates who submit the application directly on site may have the opportunity to participate in the interview.

The event provides a chance for international students understand more about Ton Duc Thang University and Vietnam, and students of Faculty of Finance and Banking learn more about other cultures.
