About the announcement of the entrance quality assurance threshold university admissions based on high school graduation exam scores in 2021
The Admission Council of Ton Duc Thang University announces the threshold to ensure the quality of the entrance (the level of admission registration scores) for undergraduate majors according to the method of admission according to the high school graduation exam scores in 2021. as follows:
1. How to calculate admission score
The admission score (scale of 40 points) is the sum of the scores of 3 subjects according to the combination (with the multiplier of the subjects according to the combination, the field of admission), plus the priority points for subjects/regions (if any), rounded to 2 decimal places.
In which, the object priority score, the area is taken according to the table below about the object priority score, the area is on a scale of 40.

Example: Candidates with high school graduation exam results in 2021:
- Math: 7.00 points; Literature: 6.75 points; UK: 8.00 points
- Candidates from Region 1.
Admission to the English major is based on the combination D01 (Math, Literature, English) in which the multiplier of 2 is English.
Thus, the candidate's admission score according to the D01 combination of English language major is calculated as follows:
Admission test score = Math score + Literature score + English score *2 + Priority score
= 7.00 + 6.75 + 8.00*2 + 1.00 = 30.75 points

- Candidates in Vietnam and candidates in countries where English is not the main language: must have IELTS 5.0 or higher or equivalent (valid within 2 years until October 1, 2021);
- Candidates who do not have the required English certificate (IELTS 5.0 equivalent) will not be eligible for admission.
