Working Session between the Faculty of Finance and Banking and Saxion University of Applied Sciences (the Netherlands)
On the afternoon of March 12, 2026, the Faculty of Finance and Banking warmly welcomed representatives from Saxion University of Applied Sciences (the Netherlands) for a working session with lecturers and students.
Representing Saxion University of Applied Sciences were Mr. Sander Reinderink, Dean of Finance, Accounting and International Business, and Ms. Ngoc Ngo, Director of Strategic Partnership Relations.
On behalf of Ton Duc Thang University, the meeting was attended by Dr. Le Bao TruongThy, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Finance and Banking, together with lecturers from the Faculty of Finance and Banking and the Faculty of Accounting.
Saxion University of Applied Sciences has been a long-standing strategic partner of the Faculty of Finance and Banking, Ton Duc Thang University. At present, the Faculty is implementing 3+1 and 2+2 articulation programs in Finance and Control.
The working session opened up further prospects for collaboration and discussions on student exchange semesters, professional placements, internship and employment opportunities at companies and banks in the Netherlands and other European countries, short-term student exchange programs, International Week, and Summer Camp activities for European students to explore Vietnamese culture.
In addition, the Faculty of Finance and Banking and representatives of Saxion University also discussed opportunities for faculty exchange and joint research aimed at enhancing teaching expertise and research capacity in the areas of digital transformation and business model innovation in enterprises.
Following the working session with lecturers from the Faculty of Finance and Banking, a seminar was held for students of the international articulation program. During the seminar, representatives from Saxion University of Applied Sciences shared information about the academic programs, scholarship opportunities, learning environment, and career prospects at the university.
Students of the Faculty of Finance and Banking also had the opportunity to interact directly with the representatives and raise questions to gain a clearer understanding of the university, its academic programs, and other practical matters such as living expenses and scholarships available during the transition period of studying abroad.
