Financial support programs for students of Ton Duc Thang University

Facing the difficult situation of the epidemic, on the basis of balancing existing financial resources, Ton Duc Thang University has implemented many support programs to contribute to helping learners overcome difficulties.

Tuition reduction:  The school reduces the tuition fee of the first semester of the school year 2021-2022 by 5% for all students (students, graduate students, doctoral students). This policy applies to learners in all programs: standard, high quality, university in English and campus rotation study abroad program; 4+1 program students, graduate students, graduate students and college students who have successfully registered for the course and participated in the study in the first semester of the academic year 2021-2022.

Financial support for disadvantaged students:  The school also conducts financial support programs for students with special difficulties due to the impact of the epidemic in the form of scholarships to overcome difficulties. This support program is for: students who are disadvantaged COVID-19 (F0) patients; students whose parents have lost their jobs due to the epidemic, whose families have no income or have their income reduced; other extremely difficult circumstances, etc.

Extending the time to pay tuition:  At the same time with the reduction of tuition fees and financial support for difficult students, the school will also extend the time to pay tuition fees to help students facilitate the preparation of tuition fees. Accordingly, students can postpone the payment of tuition fees for the third semester of the 2020-2021 school year to contribute to the tuition fee of the first semester of the 2021-2022 school year. extended until the end of November 26, 2021. If within this time limit, students still have difficulties and cannot fulfill their tuition obligations, they can apply for an extension according to the instructions.

Support for boarding students:  The school will reduce 1 month of dormitory fees for students who have paid boarding fees for the third semester of the 2020-2021 school year. The reduced amount will be deducted from the dormitory fee in the next semester or refunded directly to the student. In addition, students who are staying at the dormitory in the third semester of the 2020-2021 school year will continue to stay at the dormitory for free for another half month from the date of admission according to the school's announcement.

The school spends a total budget of 30 billion VND to support learners affected by the COVID-19 epidemic. In addition, the School will continue to have other annual scholarship programs according to the University's current regulations for learners.
