The seminar on "Enhancing Research Quality for Publication in Prestigious Journals" presented by Associate Professor K. Mathiyazhagan, an author and editor, will provide valuable insights.

On November 25, 2024, the Banking Finance Department hosted a seminar titled 'Online Talk Seminar' in Meeting Room C. The seminar was conducted in both online and in-person formats, and it was attended by faculty members, researchers, and students from the Faculty.
At this seminar, the faculty had the honor of welcoming Associate Professor K. Mathiyazhagan, Director of the Research Center and Associate Professor at Thiagarajar School of Management in Tamil Nadu. He presented on the topic, "Enhancing Research Quality for Publication in Prestigious Journals."

As a speaker, Associate Professor K. Mathiyazhagan introduced and shared with faculty members and students the steps to conduct high-quality research, how to choose the appropriate journal for publication, and the process of editing and reviewing articles. Additionally, Associate Professor K. Mathiyazhagan shared his experiences on writing cover letters to send to journal editors, as well as how to impress the editor by crafting effective article titles and highlighting the novel contributions of his research.

During the session, faculty members and students engaged in lively discussions about selecting topics for writing articles. They explored how to research and thoroughly investigate the areas that should be included in their writings to improve the quality of their publications.
