University Admissions Counseling Day 2025 at Ton Duc Thang University - TDTU OPEN DAY 2025

On April 12, 2025, Ton Duc Thang University held its University Admissions Counseling Day 2025 – TDTU OPEN at the main campus in District 7, Ho Chi Minh City. The event created an exciting atmosphere and attracted more than 3,000 students and parents from Ho Chi Minh City and various southern provinces. Attendees had the opportunity to explore and receive direct counseling on 43 academic programs offered at TDTU.

The events organized by the Faculty of Finance and Banking drew considerable interest from both students and parents. This was achieved through the counseling booth and the experiential simulation room of a securities company – commercial bank, aligning well with the university's overall activities.

Lecturers and students of the Faculty of Finance and Banking were ready to provide counseling to parents and students on the morning of April 12, 2025.

In 2025, in addition to the existing Finance and Banking program, the Faculty will launch a new major in International Finance (program code: 7340201Q). 

At the counseling booth, students received one-on-one consultations where they could ask questions about various topics, including career opportunities in the Finance and Banking field, the Finance and Banking major, and the International Finance major. They also inquired about admission procedures, suitable educational programs, career orientation, job prospects, and more—all with the guidance of experienced lecturers from the Faculty of Finance and Banking.

The booth also offered various games that provided entertainment while fostering critical thinking during the campus tour. Through themed activities like “Understanding Securities,” “Picture Quiz,” and “Perfect Match,” students not only learned more about the facilities and admission processes at Ton Duc Thang University but also received updates on the current economic landscape and trends in the financial market.

Parents and students received dedicated and enthusiastic guidance from the lecturers of the Faculty of Finance and Banking.

Moreover, the TDTU Open Day 2025 offered a great chance for students to experience the university’s modern, dynamic, and internationally accredited learning environment, which includes simulation rooms and laboratories.

The Faculty of Finance and Banking organized a special event called the “Money Matters Journey” for students. This event provided a hands-on experience in the simulation room of a securities company and a commercial bank. Lecturers and students from the Faculty introduced participants to various career roles in Finance, Investment, and Banking, both domestically and internationally. They engaged students in activities that simulated basic tasks performed by employees of banks and securities companies. What made the experience even more exciting was the opportunity for students to practice using cash counting machines and counterfeit detection devices. They learned about the features of Vietnamese banknotes, explored the basic functions of a stock trading board, and developed a broad understanding of how to analyze the financial market.

Faculty lecturers and students from the Faculty of Finance and Banking aim to provide parents and students with a better understanding of Ton Duc Thang University and its Finance and Banking program, particularly the majors of Finance & Banking and International Finance. The TDTU Open Day 2025 event is designed to help students gain clearer insights into their career paths and choose the academic programs that best suit their future.

The event was a great success, creating opportunities to further strengthen the close and effective collaboration between TDTU and high schools. Through this initiative, TDTU continues to fulfill its mission and social responsibility as a public higher education institution. The university is actively involved in counseling, career orientation, and admissions advising for high school students, while also supporting the development of education across various regions and provinces.
