The International Conference on Financial Management and Economics 2023 (International Conference on Financial Management and Economics 2023: ICFME 2023) was held at Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) with the participation of professors, researchers and experts. from many countries around the world. The international conference is chaired by the Faculty of Finance and Banking, Ton Duc Thang University, Vietnam in cooperation with the Faculty of Accounting, Ton Duc Thang University, Vietnam; Eli Broad School of Business, Michigan State University, USA; Faculty of Management and Economics, Tomas Bata University in Zlín, Czech Republic; and the Faculty of Business, Education, Law and the Arts, University of South Queensland, Australia.

Attending the opening ceremony were Professor Dragon Yongjun TANG, University of Hong Kong (Hong Kong); professor Zoran Ivkovich, Michigan State University (USA); Professor Juraj Sipko, Tomas Bata University in Zlín (Czech Republic); professors and experts from Tomas Bata University in Zlín (Czech Republic), Michigan State University (USA), University of Southern Queensland (Australia); Pardubice University (Czech Republic), Corvinus University Budapest (Hungary); representatives of sponsoring businesses, partner enterprises, and professional associations at home and abroad.

The workshop took place in 2 days, July 4 and 5, 2023 with 13 reporting sessions, face-to-face and online discussions. At ICFME 2023, scientists presented and discussed new research findings on economic management and their impact on business performance, organizations and the economy in general. The conference is also a place where scientists, business managers, economic managers share, exchange experiences and cultures, cooperate to introduce scientific and technological products related to financial economy.

At ICFME 2023, there are more than 50 selected research papers presented on topics such as behavioral finance, financial technology, financial modeling, financial decision and risk management, technology application in study finance and economics, financial investment, sustainability accounting, corporate finance and corporate governance along with other topics related to finance, accounting and governance.
Within the framework of the Workshop, Workshop "Application of Blockchain in Fintech" (Application of Blockchain in Fintech) held on July 5, 2023 attracted the participation of more than 1000 guests attending in person and online, along with 5 presentations from experts and leaders in the field of Blockchain in Vietnam and internationally such as: UFIN, FUNDGO Creative Investment Fund, PiBridge. The workshop provides insights into the practical applications of blockchain in different fintech segments, through interactive discussions and case studies, participants will gain a deeper understanding of how blockchain can work. can revolutionize financial processes, improve efficiency, and foster trust in the fintech ecosystem.
