National Taipei University (NTPU) visited and worked with Faculty of Finance and Banking
On the morning of November 19, 2019, a delegation from Taipei National University, Taiwan (NTPU) was led by Assoc. Shu-Ling Chen - Director of the Master's program in Finance - Faculty of Finance and Administration to visit and work with the Faculty of Finance and Banking, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU).
The meeting took place with the participation of lecturers of Faculty of Finance and Banking. During the meeting, the two sides discussed to develop a cooperation program in educational cooperation such as developing a student and lecturer exchange program, and a master double-degree program. Assoc. Shu-Ling Chen and faculty members exchanged essential information to launch a joint program between the two universities and soon bring new international master program into enrollment.
On the same day, Assoc. Shu-Ling Chen organized a workshop with students of the Faculty of Finance and Banking to introduce the Master's program in Finance at NTPU. She, along with other representatives from NTPU, interviewed a number of potential students to award scholarship for students.
Taipei National University was established in 1949, formerly known as Taiwan Public Administration College, and mainly trains legal and commercial knowledge for the country's elite. In 1961, the school merged with the College of Science and Engineering to Chung Hung University, in 1971 officially changed its name to Chung Hung National University. In February 2000, the Academy of Law and Commerce, together with the Night Supplementary Class, separated and became today's Taipei National University (NTPU).
Currently, NTPU has signed agreements with more than 110 universities around the world with rich affiliate programs such as international research programs, student exchange, double degree programs, etc
