Swansea University, United of Kingom visited and worked with Faculty of Finance and Banking, TDTU

On the morning of May 22, 2019, the Faculty of Finance and Banking had a meeting with Associate Professor. Terry Filer - Dean of the Faculty of Accounting and Finance and Mr. Mark Narusberg - Assistant Director, Global Education Partnership, Swansea University, United Kingdom with the full participation of leaders and faculty members of the Faculty of Finance & Banking (FFB). During the meeting, two sides discussed to build and develop an international cooperation program in education such as the development of student exchange programs, lecturers and dual-degree undergraduate programs. Associate Professor. Terry Filer is very impressed with the rapid development of TDTU, especially the achievements in scientific research as well as the quality of teaching at TDTU. Representatives of Swansea University and the leaders and faculty members of FFB exchanged carefully the work to implement the dual-degree undergraduate program (2 + 2) in Finance and Accounting. The two sides discussed in detail the remaining issues to soon put the dual-degree undergraduate program into enrollment.

In the afternoon of the same day, Associate Professor. Terry Filer also organized a seminar for students of FFB with the topic: "Applying virtual reality technology (Virtual Reality - VR) in teaching and learning". Virtual reality technology (VR) is not a new topic but its application in education is a new breakthrough that attracts the attention of both faculty members and students of FFB.
