TDTU signed the Memorandum of Understanding with CPA Australia
On January 21, 2021, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) and the Australian Association of Certified Public Accountants (CPA Australia) signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU). The purpose of the signing is to establish a framework for bilateral cooperation programs in the Business - Economy - Finance sector.
On the TDTU side, there was Dr. Vo Hoang Duy - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Director of Center of Enterprise Cooperation and Alumni, the leader of faculties and functional units of TDTU. CPA Australia's side included Ms. Huynh Ngoc Thien - Chief Representative of CPA Australia Southern Regional Office, Mr. Kyle Pham and Mr. Tran Hong Van - Members of CPA Australia.
Based on the available needs and capabilities, the two sides have committed to implementing career guidance activities, training soft skills, and connecting job opportunities for TDTU students. The relationship between TDTU and CPA Australia will be the foundation for students to improve their professional skills and create opportunities for students to participate in the study and take the Certificate of International Accounting and Finance to support their future career development.
At the signing ceremony, CPA Australia also awarded a number of scholarships to excellent lecturers and students of TDTU.
After the signing ceremony, the talkshow "Orienting career opportunities in the field of Finance - Accounting - Management with CPA Australia Certificate" inspired TDTU students. The speaker of the program was Mr. Kyle Pham - Member of CPA Australia Advisory Committee South Vietnam, and CFO of Ho Tram Resort & Casino. The program was a good opportunity for students to gain valuable experiences from experienced leaders.
