Field trip & experience at Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank – South Saigon Branch (MB)

On October 16 and 23, 2025, the Faculty of Finance and Banking organized a practical field trip and experiential learning session at Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MB) – South Saigon Branch, within the framework of the Career Planning 1 course.
Recognized as a financially strong institution with consistently high profitability and a leading position in Vietnam’s banking system, MB has long been known for its solid foundation and sustainable development. In collaboration with MB, the Faculty designed this important kick-off activity to provide first-year students with an authentic understanding of a professional working environment, nurturing their passion and inquisitiveness during the earliest stage of their academic journey.
✅ Students were able to directly observe workplace operations and experience a dynamic corporate culture, helping them connect introductory theoretical knowledge with real-world practices at one of the country’s top commercial banks.
✅ Career Planning 1 emphasizes mindset transformation and the development of essential soft skills, supporting students in transitioning effectively from an academic environment to future professional settings.
Following insightful discussions with senior leaders and industry experts from MB – South Saigon Branch, students also had the opportunity to ask questions regarding job roles, workplace scenarios, and challenges that banking professionals face. These practical reflections offered students valuable guidance and strengthened their confidence as they prepare for their future career paths.
