On the morning of November 12, 2025, the Faculty of Finance and Banking at Ton Duc Thang University hosted a formal meeting with representatives from the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP) in Meeting Room B. Representing the Faculty was Dr. Lê Bảo Thy, Deputy Dean, accompanied by several faculty lecturers. From GARP, Ms. Shania Fang-IChien, Asia Business Development Representative based in Hong Kong, participated and engaged in discussions with the Faculty.
The purpose of the meeting was to explore collaboration opportunities and to provide GARP with a comprehensive understanding of the Faculty’s current training programs and the learning environment for students in Finance and Banking. Additionally, the Faculty was introduced to GARP’s professional certification programs, including FRM® (Financial Risk Manager), RAI™ Certificate (Risk & AI Certificate), SCR® Certificate (Sustainability & Climate Risk Certificate).
In today’s era of deep international integration, obtaining these certifications offers candidates in the Finance and Banking sector a significant competitive advantage. These credentials not only enhance specialized knowledge in financial risk management but also keep professionals abreast of emerging fields such as green finance, ESG, and AI applications in finance.
