In 2019, Vietnam is selected as the country for the FMA to host the 11th Asia-Pacific Regional Conference, and Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) is honored to be the co-organizer with FMA. Prof. Le Vinh Danh, TDTU President as the Co-Chair of the Conference, Dr. Vo Van Lai, TDTU Lecturer as the co-chair of academic activities.

On January 31, 2026, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) held the Opening Ceremony for its doctoral and master’s training programs, Intake 2 of the 2025 admissions cycle.
On the morning of December 29, 2025, the Faculty of Finance and Banking successfully organized an academic seminar titled “Evaluating Sustainability and Circularity: Financial and Environmental Aspects.”
On the morning of November 12, 2025, the Faculty of Finance and Banking at Ton Duc Thang University hosted a formal meeting with representatives from the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP) in Meeting Room B. Representing the Faculty was Dr. Lê Bảo Thy, Deputy Dean, accompanied by several faculty lecturers. From GARP, Ms. Shania Fang-IChien, Asia Business Development Representative based in Hong Kong, participated and engaged in discussions with the Faculty.
On the morning of November 12, 2025, the Center for Business Cooperation & Alumni Affairs of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU), in collaboration with Ho Chi Minh City Development Joint Stock Commercial Bank (HDBank), organized the program “HDBank Future Banker 2025 – Ready for Internship, Confident for Career Success.”
The program was honored to welcome Ms. Le Thi Minh Tram – Regional Director of Ho Chi Minh City Region, Mr. Tu Truong Thanh – Director of Nguyen Trai Branch, along with representatives from HDBank’s Recruitment Management Department.
As part of the course Career Planning 1, first-year students from the Faculty of Finance and Banking had the opportunity to participate in a field trip and practical learning experience at Woori Bank Vietnam.

On the morning of September 12, 2025, the Faculty of Finance and Banking at Ton Duc Thang University hosted the Welcoming Ceremony for Cohort 29 Freshmen at Hall 6B. The event featured the Faculty’s leaders, academic advisors, representatives from various departments, student clubs, and all incoming students of the 29th Cohort.
This year, the Faculty officially launched the International Finance major – marking its first intake and offering students more diverse study options.
